lyrics
The sky could fall
Everything could fade to black
But in twenty years I'll still want you
In twenty years I'd still want you
People change
When living just to become whole
But in twenty years I'll still want you
In twenty years I'll still want you
So tell me that you want me too
Tell me that you'll never go, never leave me
Won't you tell me that you want me too
That I'm all you see.
Give me twenty years, then twenty more
Tell me that when I die, you die
Won't you tell me that you want me too
That I'm all you need.
The birds could keep quiet
Lonely without song
And the wheat fields could swallow us whole
But in twenty years I'll still want you
In twenty years I'll still want you
The wind could keep howling
like a million sighs in my ears
But in twenty years I'll still want you
In twenty years I'll want you like I did at day one
So tell me that you want me too
Tell me that you'll never go, never leave me
Won't you tell me that you want me too
That I'm all you see.
Give me twenty years, then twenty more
Tell me that when I die, you die
Won't you tell me that you want me too
That I'm all you need.
The atmosphere will burn and the trees will disappear
Glaciers will melt because we'd rather drive, rather waste
than spend the time to walk and talk to each other
The rich get richer with their eyes shut, hearts closed
People go hungry 'cause we never give, selfless
To those who need it the most
The sky could fall in twenty years
People change, but I'll still want you
It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
